Hey guys,
I've been doing sound at 50-350 person capacity venues for the last year or so, and I'm looking to put together a little kit of mics, some compressors, etc., and I found a really good deal on a pair of e835's with boom stands and clips for $150.
I've used almost exclusively SM58's, but it looks to me like the Senn e835 might be a decent mic as well.

It looks like the freq response is similar, with the Senn maybe being a little smoother and not so bumpy. The Senn also reaches into the high end a little more.
Anybody have a lot of real experience to contrast the two? Is the e835 any more noisy or feedback-ish than the 58?
