Chiss Ascendancy How to Name a Chiss . Names of canon characters such as do have a more “traditional” naming setup (Shawnkyr’s name is alternatively written as Shawn’kyr’nuruodo). It seems all Chiss names follow the family-root-occupation name format. The above breakdown does contradict some Chiss, such as.
- My sorc is chiss also but as she started out a twi'lek (changed due to hood frustrations) I have no actual chiss name for her. She's the child of exiles in my headcanon, so I imagine she would have a very limited idea of chiss conventions and society anyways and would probably not have a full chiss name.
- Apr 07, 2015 Name generators aren't that helpful, I find, nor are Chiss names -that- complicated. The important thing to note is that Chiss names are heavily based on which Family you belong to, especially if you're in one of the Ruling Families.

The Ascendancy Navy, often referred to as the Chiss Navy and the Chiss Naval Branch, was the naval branch of the Chiss Ascendancy.
HistoryEdit
The Ascendancy Navy was formed when the Chiss Ascendancy was formed. It served as main part of the Ascendancy for naval equipment and almost always cooperated with the Ascendancy during assaults. The Navy branch saw major use during the Wild Space Conflicts, cooperating with the Chiss Ascendancy and Household Praetorian.
The navy was again called upon during the Yuuzhan Vong War. They served mainly as the naval branch to Household Praetorian, as the main part of the Ascendancy refused to help.
