Fallout 4 For Low End Pc
Other Fallout 4 errors are Lag, Low FPS, Stuttering. Below you can see a list of these issues of the game and also solutions and workaround on how to fix them and play the game. How to fix Fallout 4 Crashes and other issues: 1) Fallout 4 Crashes, your game might crash when you are trying to start it or randomly when you are playing.
Updated: Fixed typo, it's present not preset
Turn off built-in VSync. It seem like their VSync was designed for 30fps on consoles, so when it tries to sync higher end systems it screws up everything. This leads to jittery movement and harsh frame dips. Heres how to do it:
Go to documents/my games/fallout4/, in Fallout4Prefs.ini and Fallout4.ini change iPresentInterval=1 to 0, if it is not there add the line and set it to 0.
NOTE: You still need to cap it, going over 60 can cause issues like being stuck in terminals or superfast lockpicking
So now force vsync in the nvidia/amd control panel instead to avoid issues going over 60fps. I believe you can also use dxtory to limit your fps to 60.
Fallout 4 Low Graphics Mod
2) Turn god rays to low. They still look pretty much the same, but for some reason ultra can kill your fps. Avast cannot insert license search.
Fallout 4 Mods For Low End Pc
I've been trying to run fallout 4 and it runs OK for a few minutes on the lowest settings, and then it starts to get laggy and the screen sometimes freeze for between a couple seconds to a couple minutes.
I've also been trying all kind of mods and tweaks to get better performance with no major difference.
I decided I want to upgrade my pc but since I'm on a low budget I'm asking for your guidance on what to do, buy another GPU for Xfire, add RAM, change GPU etc.
Here are my specs:
Motherboard GA-ma790x-ud4p
CPU AMD phenom II X4 965
GPU Gigabyte Radeon HD5770
2x2GB ram DDR2
If you guys need any more details just ask.
